Komi

It is a musical interval that is emphasized in various situations such as chant, hayshi and forms. In many cases, the sound doesn’t go out, so the performer says “tsu” or “n” and takes a komi (musical interval). In accurate performance actually has komi and it is said that it is very important because the position of the performance (slow speed, strength etc.) is determined by how to take the Komi.
